From 22 to 24 November 2012 in Kazan will be held Third International Scientific-Practical Conference, its main theme being “Post-Genome Methods of Analysis in Biology and Laboratory and Clinical Medicine”.

  The conference is organized The Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, The Scientific-Research Institute of Physico-Chemical Medicine at the Federal Medical and Biological Academy of Russia and Limited Liabilities Company OOO «Park-Media».

  The conference will include:
- Speeches by Russian and foreign researchers;
- Lectures and reports;
- Workshops and free discussions;
- An Exhibition and many other points of interest.

  This year, the Steering Committee decided to hold the Third International Conference “Post-genome Methods of Analysis in Biology and Medicine” at the Kazan (Trans-Volga) Federal University. This choice was deemed appropriate for a number of reasons, first and foremost being the unique scientific schools and the customary high level of preparing specialists in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Within the framework of the conference, memorial symposiums devoted to prominent Soviet biochemists and molecular biologists V.A. Engelhardt and A.A. Bayev, will be held; in addition, workshops held by notable Russian researchers and symposiums organized by companies producing equipment, reagents and information products will also take place.

  Organizers are confident that the creation and functioning of this multidisciplinary research-and-practical discussion site will facilitate the further development of biological and medical science in Russia.
