The Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), on the grounds of their common Agreement, announce a Call for joint R&D projects-2009 (CNRS_a). The projects to be supported should be implemented jointly by French and Russian scientists and relate to the basic research in the areas of common interest.

The Russian and French researchers participating in a project should agree a joint plan of research between them. The French participants should submit their proposal to PICS 2009 Call before 15 March. From 1 April, applications for the joint Call will be accepted: by CNRS from the French participants, and by RFBF from the Russian ones. The deadline for e-applications is 31 May 2008.
